Hepco & Becker Xplorer Cutout Motorcycle Side Case Set with Carrier KTM 1290 Super Adventure (2015-)

The set, developed exclusively for selected motorbike models, consists of a model-specific stainless steel case carrier and two Xplorer aluminium cases. With its cut-out, the new 37L Xplorer Cutout case elegantly hugs the motorbike's exhaust. The other side is completed by the 40L Xplorer version of the test winner (Motorrad 16/12). In this combination, the overall width is reduced and the pannier system appears symmetrical. Riding safety and comfort are also improved, as the centre of gravity is moved to the middle of the motorbike. The panniers feature high-impact plastic and anodised sheet metal, which ensure high abrasion resistance. The firmly bolted pannier rack is made of polished, 2 mm thick stainless steel round tube with a diameter of 16 mm and is thus ideally suited for every adventure. The system is lightweight yet very stable.

A modern, contemporary design (by Target- Design) made from an extremely robust combination of anodised aluminium sheet and highly impact-resistant moulded plastic parts. Through this fusion of design and functionality, this case meets the zeitgeist of many motorcyclists. Due to the anodised, 1.5 mm thick aluminium sheet and the high-strength plastic parts, this case absorbs impacts and shocks particularly well. The anodised or plastic-coated aluminium effectively prevents unsightly aluminium abrasion.

The Xplorer has a high-quality surface structure. The cases have bevelled edges to ensure optimum slanting freedom. The lid can be opened upwards at an angle of 90°! The waterproofness of this case is guaranteed. Thanks to all these features, the HEPCO&BECKER Xplorer panniers were named test winner over all competitors in the test by Motorrad magazine, issue 19/2012:
